The original creator of this fun house mirror didn't take into account how top heavy it would be. Not ideal for a museum full of children. New sides were cut, routed, secured and then painted red to match the original color.

Hidden all over this futuristic set are nooks and crannies. I made and installed multiple areas of this set. I helped to paint the set, floor, and ceiling piece. In addition to being on the carpentry crew for this show, I assisted sound designing as well. Photo by Dan Norman.
This set was not only 3 stories tall, it also spun 360 degrees throughout the show. I worked on many elements of this set, including wall building, painting, physically assembling the set, and breaking a window (safely and on purpose). Photo by Dan Norman
This is the sturdiest set I have ever had my hands in building. The second platform needed to hold 20+ performers and the stairs needed to detach and roll around during certain musical numbers. I also painted, assembled, and made sure the set was secured.
The media team for the UofM Gopher football team contracted our shop to make a photo box. This was made from giant frames and canvases. Very cool to see something made in our shop on TV.
In an arrangement made by our UMTAD Technical Director, our scene shop also built all productions at Penumbra Theatre in St. Paul. This photo is from a set that was completed just before the pandemic, unfortunately, the show did not end up premiering.
The only important part of this picture is the golden wolf behind the actor in red. It was a statue of the Shewolf made of Styrofoam.
